Kylie Kelce’s popular podcast, Not Gonna Lie, scored a highly in-demand guest this week when former First Lady Michelle Obama sat down for a chat—and it turns out the two women have a particularly relatable habit in common.
In a preview clip from the Thursday, March 20 episode of NGL, Kelce and Obama tackled a very important topic: bedtime.

“Hi, I’m Michelle Obama, and I’m not gonna lie…bedtime is the best time of the day,” Obama said at the beginning of the interview.
“My husband teases me about how early I can go to bed. He just doesn’t understand the idea of getting into some good sheets, and it’s cool,” she continued.
“If we’ve got people in the house, I’m game, I’m there. I’m up, I’m in it. I’m laughing, I’m talking,” she explained. “But, you know, the minute we finish up, I’m just trying not to go to bed before the sun goes down.”
“What’s ideal bedtime?” Kelce asked.
“Man, any time after dinner,” Obama said with a laugh.
“That’s lovely,” Kelce agreed, adding, “coming from someone who likes the AARP special reservation—which is the 5:30 reservation—I would love to be in bed by like 8:30.”
“The girls, they were good sleepers,” Obama said, referring to her daughters Sasha and Malia (now 26 and 23 years old, respectively).
“That’s so lucky,” Kelce said.
“I know,” Obama agreed. “Bath time, 7 o’clock, bedtime, 7:30. And then, I had like, at least a couple of hours where like, nobody was asking me for anything. And maybe that’s where I got the early bedtime from,” she reflected.

“As a morning person I really appreciate that take because bedtime really is like, let’s get in there,” Kelce joked.
“That’s right. It’s just like, lay down!” Obama declared.
Kelce’s fans couldn’t get over the fact that she was interviewing Obama, who recently launched her own podcast, IMO With Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson.
“Wow! Holy shit!!! I thought the boys killed it getting Ben Stiller but you slayed,” one person wrote, referring to Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast.
“I need to know if Kylie from a couple months ago would have ever imagined that she would be interviewing THE MICHELLE OBAMA. Like, wow girl, you are killing it!” gushed someone else.
