Marcus Jordan, has made a sad admission following his arrest earlier this year.

Marcus Jordan, a former college basketball player, was arrested for DUI earlier this year. The former UCF Knights men’s basketball player was arrested on February 4, 2025 in Orange County, Florida on DUI charges. He was ultimately arrested for possession of ketamine and driving under the influence.

The 34-year-old son of the legendary NBA star has since made a sad admission in court, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ Sports.

Marcus Jordan is reportedly dealing with some issues.

The son of the legendary NBA star is reportedly dealing with a substance abuse problem. He reportedly made the admission in legal documents filed in court, according to TMZ Sports.

Marcus Jordan, who works for the Jordan brand and has appeared on reality TV shows like “The Traitors,” has reportedly been dealing with “challenges” that are related to his “substance abuse” problems, according to TMZ Sports.

TMZ Sports is reporting that Marcus Jordan has asked the judge in his case to require him to complete a Pre-Trial Substance Abuse Education and Treatment Intervention Program.

Attorneys representing the son of the legendary NBA star argued that the program would “not only benefit him personally but also serve the community by reducing the likelihood of future offenses.”

Michael Jordan’s son is reportedly open to receiving treatment for his issues, according to the legal documents. He is reportedly willing to waive his right to a speedy trial of the judge grants the motion filed by his lawyers.

A court date has reportedly not yet been set.

Marcus Jordan, who grew up in Illinois, is reportedly facing three charges: one felony count of ketamine possession, one misdemeanor count of DUI with property damage and one misdemeanor count of resisting an officer.
