Taylor Swift’s dad is facing an accusation from NFL fans leading into Super Bowl 59 this year. Taylor’s dad, Scott, grew up in Pennsylvania.

He was supposedly a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan growing up and into adulthood. Taylor Swift has admitted to being taught to root for the Eagles growing up.

But this weekend, while the Philadelphia Eagles were hosting the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game, Scott Swift was nowhere to be found – in Philly, anyway. Instead, he was rooting on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Scott Swift has been accused of being a “fake fan” for his support of the Kansas City Chiefs over the Philadelphia Eagles during this Super Bowl 59 run.

“Unbelievable. The birds are playing & her dad is rocking KC gear,” one fan wrote. “Someone: Scott eagles are playing – Scott: who?” another fan joked.

“It’s gonna be so funny when Scott Swift comes out fully decked in Chiefs gear for the superbowl. Like Eagles who?” one fan added. “scott swift disowned the eagles in 2023 , ain’t no way he or any swift family members are rooting for the birds i need some of yall to be sooo serious. he supports taylor and therefore he supports the chiefs,” one fan added.

Taylor Swift’s dad can root for whoever he wants. But clearly, he’s not a big-time Eagles fan. At least, he’s nowhere close to the kind of die-hard that Kylie Kelce is.

“Kylie got some love from the Philadelphia fans for her continued refusal to wear Chiefs gear even though she has personal connections. She just does not want to do it,” Jason Kelce said. “I have tried [saying], ‘Kylie, we have family in the game, it’s okay to cheer on that team. They’re not playing the Eagles.

You realize this isn’t against the Eagles right?’ She just refuses. She’ll wear other universities but she won’t wear other NFL teams.”

The Swift family suite at Caesar’s Superdome should be interesting, that’s for sure.
