Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, is reportedly upset about his new relationship with Taylor Swift. Nicole and Kelce, who had an on-again, off-again relationship for five years, split in 2022. The breakup has been particularly difficult for Nicole, who has also grown distant from Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Kelce’s teammate, Patrick Mahomes.

Kelce and Nicole, who were together for five years, broke up multiple times before ending their relationship in 2022. Both denied rumors about money issues, which were circulating on Instagram. Nicole refuted this on a podcast, and Kelce resisted the idea in January 2023, stating “Don’t buy into that s-t!”.

Kelce and Taylor Swift, who began their relationship last summer, have been seen partying with their new boyfriend’s friends, including Brittany Mahomes, wife of quarterback Patrick. While Kelce and Nicole were dating, Nicole and Brittany were really close to each other, with Nicole even being a bridesmaid at their 2022 wedding.

However, they haven’t seen each other in over a year, and Nicole unfollowed Brittany on social media, as she appeared to be growing closer to Swift. Brittany last shared a photo of her alongside Swift in early October as they cheered on their boos at a Kansas City Chiefs game.

Swift and Kelce confirmed their romance in September 2023, cheering each other on at Missouri’s Arrowhead Stadium. They have been frequently seen together at games, including a recent one where Swift consoled Brittany in the VIP suite after Patrick suffered an on-field injury.
Swift returned to Kansas City after her Eras Tour shows in Indianapolis, where Kelce attended the second show. The latest NFL game coincided with Swift’s endorsement of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
