Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry and Meghan ’cause uproar at Palace’ after ‘violation’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly broke one of the agreements in place when quitting life as senior royals in the run-up to the US election.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly breached an agreement they made with the Royal Family that was put in place ahead of them stepping down as senior Royals in 2020.

The couple, who relocated to the US in 2020, made a controversial move that same year in the run up to the US election as they urged people in a video message to “vote against hate speech”.

Although they did not name the candidate they believed people should vote for, the comments were widely believed to be a criticism of Donald Trump and in support of Joe Biden.

This political involvement reportedly was a breach of the Sandringham Summit agreement, which was written up when the couple quit their royal duties in 2020. Royal aides at the time told The Sunday Times that the remarks left the Royal Family “wringing their hands” and was a “violation” of the agreement.

This year, the couple have taken a less direct approach and have instead just encouraged people to register to vote. No comments have been made by Prince Harry or Meghan Markle about either candidate in the run-up for President.

A royal expert believes Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could use their new Portugal home as a back-up plan if Harry is no longer allowed in the US following visa rows, especially if Donald Trump is elected.

Royal pundit Hugo Vickers said: “I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Trump suddenly said ‘Right, I’m sending Prince Harry out of this country.’

“I think it’s very wise to take all the possibilities into account [and look to live elsewhere].

“Looking at it from the outside, it makes perfect sense that they should have a backup plan.”

This was revealed not long ago when the prince enjoyed a pizza lunch at Wiveton Hall Cafe in Holt, Norfolk, with his mum Princess Kate, 42.

It was here that the future King said he wanted to be a pizza chef.

According to Hello! Magazine, cafe owner Desmond MacCarthy told The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden that he showed George the restaurant’s wood-fired pizza oven. The prince reportedly said: “That’s what I want to do when I grow up!”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s rumoured plans to spend Christmas in the UK this year may not go ahead as the Duke still fears for his family’s security in Britain.

After it emerged that Harry stayed with his uncle, Earl Spencer, on a trip to the UK earlier this year, rumours began that he had extended an offer to the Duke and his young family to join him for the festive season this year.

However, this will likely only happen if Harry can overturn a ruling by the Home Office that he is not immediately entitled to police protection when visiting the UK.

Princess Anne upset about rumours
Princess Anne was reportedly upset after rumours spread she had spoken negatively about Donald Trump.

Speaking on the Royal Beat: Princess Anne at 70, Katie Nicholl, the royal correspondent for Vanity Fair said that the Princess was left feeling down after rumours that she had criticised Donald Trump.

Katie said: “I don’t think she was even aware of that big hoo-ha that she caused when she was seen almost gossiping with the world leaders about Trump,” reports Gloucestershire Live.

“Then when she was told by (Royal) aides that she had become a Twitter sensation, she was actually quite upset about it, because she’s always been very careful to not put a foot wrong.”

TV interview
Mike Tindall appeared on Good Morning Britain this morning with his friend James Haskell to talk about their podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby, however it was noticed that the former rugby player was quieter than usual.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Mike said: “We had a dinner last night in The Dorchester in London with the 2003 rugby lads.”

Presenter and interviewer Susanna Reid then asked Zara’s husband what time the celebrations finished, to which Mike looked at his watch and answered: “About three hours ago, something like that.”

Prince William and Princess Kate’s differing views on religion according to royal author
Princess Kate seems to be more interested in religion after her cancer battle, a royal author has said.

In his forthcoming biography Charles III, an excerpt of which has been featured in the Mail Online, Royal correspondent Robert Hardman discusses the reportedly differing religious views of the future King and Queen.

Speaking about William first, Hardman revealed: “He will not, however, suddenly become a regular worshipper or feign an enthusiasm for something that he does not feel personally, however bleak the situation.

“The Princess, on the other hand, is said to have become rather more interested in questions of faith as a result of her condition. ‘I would say that things are more hopeful there’, says one church-going friend of the family.”

Firefighter recalls Diana’s final words to him
Princess Diana’s final words to a firefighter at the scene of the Paris crash that led to her death will stay in his mind “forever”, he said.

The princess, who 36 was at the time, died on August 31 1997 along with her partner Dodi Fayed and the vehicle’s driver Henri Paul after the car they were travelling in crashed in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel.

Firefighter Xavier Gourmelon was one of the first at the scene and raced to help Diana, who he said looked uninjured at the time.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have gradually separated their professional projects in recent months, allowing the couple to embark on specific solo ventures.

Renae Smith, founder and director of PR firm Atticism, exclusively told Express.co.uk that while their latest decision to go solo could benefit them in the long term, it could spark negative consequences in the short term.
