Queen Camilla reunites with her ex-husband at son Tom’s new book launch
Queen Camilla reunited with her ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles at their son Tom’s new book launch in London on Thursday evening.
The 77-year-old – who married King Charles in 2005 – is said to still be “joined at the hip” to Andrew, 84. The couple were previously married for 22 years, with them finally calling it quits in 1995.
The pair put on a friendly display as they reunited at Tom’s event, which was held to mark the release of his new book, ‘Cooking and The Crown: Royal Recipes From Queen Victoria To King Charles III’.
Camilla and Andrew, who is dating TV presenter Anne Robinson, have maintained a strong and close friendship, with him even receiving special invitations to his ex-wife’s second wedding in 2005 and the King’s Coronation last year.
In 1995, Andrew and Camilla released a statement discussing their plans for divorce, which read: “Throughout our marriage we have always tended to follow rather different interests, but in recent years we have led completely separate lives.”
Camilla was famously the now-King Charles’s “mistress” during her marriage to Andrew – and his own marriage to the late Princess Diana.
Andrew was also coined by friends as having been “very naughty with women” throughout their 22-year marriage.
