P Diddy, 52, whose real name is Sean Combs, is currently being held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, where he is reportedly living a ‘sad’ and ‘lonely’ existence.
P Diddy is being held in a prison that has been described as “hell on earth”.
Despite being holed up in one of the US’s most infamous clinks, Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs is reportedly getting nothing in the way of VIP treatment at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. This notorious New York City slammer, widely dubbed as ‘hell on earth’, plays host to both short-term and pre-trial guests like Diddy.
It’s been a temporary home for celebs such as R. Kelly, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Michael Cohen. Prison guru James Pipe has chimed in on the grim reality where Diddy is said to be leading a ‘sad’ and ‘lonely’ life, stating: “Combs’ time at MDC reflects the routines and regulations set for all inmates, designed to balance operational security with the needs of those housed at the facility.”
“As Combs awaits trial, he will experience the daily regimen shared by past high-profile inmates, with limited but structured access to basic resources.” A report from Free Grants for Felons backs this up, confirming that all celeb inmates were slapped with the same rigid timetable and controlled play periods, reports the Irish Star.
What’s hot
Diddy’s expected to be an early bird for breakfast, with his day revolving around fixed meal times made in-house. Usually food is scoffed down in a shared area, though sometimes rules mean eating in your cell according to Mirror US.
Inmates snag some time for fun and fitness, but strictly during allotted slots. Furthermore, Diddy will have access to prison libraries, allowing him to communicate with approved contacts like his legal teams.

Regular cell checks could lead to lockdowns as the facility carries out these procedures, including scheduled counts and maintenance visits, to ensure security and restrict movement.
The prison’s exterior presents a grim picture with deteriorating infrastructure, decaying doors, and an unmanned guard post. Diddy will remain in the building until his trial date, leaving only for hearings.
The rapper, arrested on sex trafficking charges, continues to “categorically” deny all allegations against him.
