NFL;Travis Kelce Taunted With Four-Word Message by Eagles Star after Super Bowl
The Kansas City Chiefs met their match in Super Bowl LIX, losing to the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22.
Despite all of the conversation surrounding a potential three-peat for the Chiefs – who entered the Super Bowl having won back-to-back titles – Philadelphia had a dominant performance against Travis Kelce and company.
After the blowout loss for the Chiefs, a video of Eagles star Brandon Graham taunting Kelce during the Super Bowl surfaced online. Graham turned to the Chiefs’ sideline, sending a clear message on the game.
“87, it’s headache time,” Graham said while looking over at Kelce.
Kelce and the Chiefs struggled for much of the game. They entered the locker room at halftime down 24-0, with quarterback Patrick Mahomes posting 33 yards and two interceptions in the first half.
Mahomes finished the game with three touchdowns and 257 yards, completing 21-of-32 pass attempts. While the Chiefs picked up steam in the second half, they had just 12 first downs and 49 rushing yards in the game.
Kelce capped off the Super Bowl with four receptions and 39 yards. His first two targets of the game resulted in dropped passes for the Chiefs tight end.
