King Charles has taken a final decision regarding Prince Harry’s future amid reports the Duke wants to come back to the UK.
Amid the Duke of Sussex ongoing battle with UK Government over his security issues, a Royal expert has claimed that the monarch has left Harry on his own.
Speaking with Fox News, Royal author Ingrid Seward said Charles is unwilling to intervene in Harry’s ongoing security dispute, saying that the monarch got “no time” for the Duke’s issues.
The expert also claimed that the King is “in no position” to help as he also has to think about the repercussions of his decisions on the monarchy.
“The king is in a position where the security and who gets the security is decided by the government, and the government is not the monarch,” Seward said.
“When Charles was Prince [of Wales], he could do more, but as monarch, he has to be very careful,” she added.
She went on to note that Charles had to choose the monarchy over his own son as he cannot get involved with government policy.
Seward said Charles believes “easiest way out is to let somebody else deal with Harry,” adding, “I am sure that somebody talks to Harry, it just may not be his father.”
“And in a way, that’s probably because his father just doesn’t want to get involved.
“He hasn’t got time; he hasn’t got the inclination, and he probably hasn’t got the energy for what would be a potentially difficult conversation.”
This comes amid rumours Harry is yearning to return to the UK and with Charles deciding not to help the Duke, it sends out the message that Harry is not welcomed back home.
