Drew Barrymore can’t say she’s never been kissed by Matt Bomer!

Bomer, 47, greeted the daytime talk show host with a kiss during an appearance alongside his Mid-Century Modern costars Nathan Lane and Nathan Lee Graham on the April 4 episode of Barrymore’s talk show.

After Barrymore, 50, introduced the three actors, each warmly greeted her, but Bomer opted for a steamier hello. As he approached Barrymore, he asked, “I mean, should we kiss?” The pair then both went in for the kiss, before pulling away and giving each other a hug.

“It’s the only action that I get,” Barrymore joked, before adding, “And I just ate cacio e pepe!” She then wiped at his mouth, and the actor — who married husband Simon Halls in 2011 — replied through his own laughter, “Same, by the way. I’ve been married for years, so same.”

Barrymore and Bomer then embraced one another as they approached her set. Before sitting down for the interview, Barrymore dramatically collapsed to the floor as a delayed reaction to their kiss and Bomer helped her stand back up.

“You might have to give her mouth-to-mouth,” Graham, 56, joked, to which Barrymore quipped back, “He usually does!”

“I had to get that out of the way,” Bomer then replied seconds before, Lane, 69, jokingly asked, “Would you like to be alone?”

Once Barrymore and her guests were seated, she confessed that Bomer and Andrew Rannells have been the “only people I’ve been lucky enough to have a smoochy-toodles with” on the talk show. Lane then cheekily replied, “Well, you’ve gotta move on from gay men.”

After the group continued to joke around, Barrymore declared, “I’m not giving up gay men for anything.” Graham then joked, “Me neither!”

“I’m always barking up the wrong tree and every time I’m attracted to a guy, [he’s] gay,” she revealed.

Prior to Bomer and Barrymore’s April 4 kiss, the pair locked lips on camera in December 2023. The actor was promoting his Showtime series, Fellow Travelers, with costar Jonathan Bailey, when he and Barrymore decided to show some PDA.

At the time, Barrymore joked that she and Bomer had shared a kiss with the same person, Rannells. The Wedding Singer star was referring to the time she and Rannells kissed during a November 2023 episode, highlighting PDA dos and don’ts. Meanwhile, Rannells, 46, and Bomer kissed during a joint appearance on Watch What Happens Live in June 2018.

Bomer then said in the December 2023 episode that they “should round it out,” and that’s when the pair shared their first kiss with one another.
