Another Kansas City Chiefs star is set to tie the knot, sparking questions of whether a certain tight end and popstar could be next amid ‘engaging season.’

Juju Smith-Schuster, who re-signed with the Chiefs last month, popped the question to long-time girlfriend Laura Kruk.

The wide receiver broke the happy couple’s news in a stunning Instagram post with the caption: ‘I thank God everyday for you. Now & Forever.’

The Super Bowl winner got down on one knee – with a signature Tiffany blue box in hand – in an intimate moment over the weekend after the Chiefs’ opening victory against the Baltimore Ravens last Thursday.

Smith-Schuster chose a romantic, intimate setting, asking his wife-to-be on a private luxury yacht with a beautiful sunset glowing over the picturesque Nantucket coastline in the background.

It marked yet another major change in the NFL star’s life recently after his reunion with the reigning Super Bowl champions this summer.

Smith-Schuster parted ways with New England Patriots earlier in August and clinched a return to Kansas City, who are aiming for an historic Super Bowl ‘three-peat’ this season.

The 27-year-old played for the Chiefs in their first Super Bowl win on that run – the 38-35 win over Philadelphia Eagles in 2023 – making him a new teammate to Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and co. for a second time.

And his new – and old – teammates were among the many to congratulate Smith-Schuster on his engagement.

‘Yesssirrrrrr!! Congrats bro,’ Kelce wrote in the comments, while Mahomes added, ‘Congrats brotha!’

Smith-Schuster’s happy news comes a few months after teammate Mecole Hardman Jr., who scored the winning touchdown for the Chiefs in February’s Super Bowl, also proposed.

Hardman announced his engagement to Chariah Gordon, who posed for photos with Taylor Swift at Arrowhead last week, in a video shared to Instagram.

‘Say hello to the Future Mr. & Mrs. Hardman,’ the couple captioned their clips, which showed the 26-year-old getting down on one knee in front of their family and friends.

The flurry of proposals in Kansas City has had fans questioning if another could be on the horizon.

Fans of Kelce’s girlfriend, Swift, were quick to suggest that it could be a sign that the tight end could be buying a ring for the popstar soon.

‘Congrats…. But not the one I was hoping for,’ one fan responded to a screenshot of Smith-Schuster’s engagement announcement.

‘Next one.. TnT,’ one Swiftie wrote, referring to the couple’s initials, which Swift wears on a bracelet gifted to her by Kelce.

‘The whole damn team. Expect for Travis like what is happening,’ another impatient fan chimed in.

Some Swifties appeared to be under the impression that NFL players couldn’t get engaged during the season and Smith-Schuster’s recent news gave them hope Swift and Kelce could be engaged by the Super Bowl.

‘So you can get engaged during the season,’ one said as another added, ‘Oh, so it’s not bad karma to get engaged in season…’
