BREAKING NEWS:Barron Trump tells father Donald of an unflattering habit he had to chang
Barron Trump proved crucial to President Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign, offering insight to the Republican nominee to gain the youth vote. He notably suggested podcast media appearances for his father and helped him with his stage presence and manners, although the two are said to have had quite an interesting relationship.
The upcoming book Revenge: The Inside Story of Trump’s Return to Power by Axios reporter Alex Isenstadt revealed how co-campaign managers Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita worked tirelessly to ensure Trump’s successful debate performance.
“Barron, now a teenager, told him he flapped his gums too much last time and needed to let Biden do more of the talking,'” Isenstadt wrote.
The Atlanta presidential debate in June 2024 was particularly noteworthy as it signaled the decline of former President Joe Biden’s political career. However, alongside Biden’s perplexing performance, Donald Trump appeared much more composed than during their previous face-off in Cleveland in September 2020.
“Trump listened to his son, who was expressing some interest in politics and a willingness to be more public after being shielded from the cameras during the White House years,” Isenstadt said.
She added: “The debate was a few hours away, and the aides knew that even if they felt they had everything locked up, that meant there was, as always, still plenty of time for someone to feed him bad advice.”

During the 2020 cycle, Trump had a few ‘slapdash’ prep sessions with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie – this time around, he was determined to prepare properly.
Jason Miller and Stephen Miller (no relation) spearheaded the initiative, which kicked off in earnest in early June, according to Isenstadt. The Millers organized practice sessions, dubbed ‘policy time’ by Wiles, focusing on key issues such as immigration, the economy, and abortion.
Isenstadt said that Trump, who stowed away his phone and declined any breaks, repeatedly drilled the practice questions. “While the Giuliani and Christie sessions were filled with bickering and squawking, these were focused,” she wrote.
The Trump team enlisted of subject matter experts for their insights – Kevin Hassett on economic matters, Tom Homan – now Trump’s ‘border czar’ – on immigration, Robert Lighthizer on trade, Tennessee Senator Bill Hagerty on foreign affairs, and Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt for his experience as a former state attorney general.
