It is not often that the NFL’s top two teams meet in the Super Bowl, but that’s precisely what we’ll have when the Eagles (14-3) battle the Chiefs (15-2 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The game is a Super Bowl 57 rematch, and the two franchises will meet for the 12th time in history, dating back to their first matchup in 1972. Including their Super Bowl LVII victory over the Eagles, Kansas City’s overall record is 6-5 against Philadelphia.
With kickoff fast approaching, the NFL expert picks are in, and we’re previewing who is the favorite to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.

Gerry Dulac of the Post-Gazette is picking the Chiefs by three.
The Eagles have better talent at just about every offensive and defensive position but one — and Jalen Hurts is a pretty good second choice. Not only do they have the best offensive line in the league, they have a game-breaking difference maker with Saquon Barkley. But the Chiefs have better coaching and better schemes, most especially because of Andy Reid and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. And they have Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs receivers and running backs look pedestrian to what the Eagles have. On paper, the matchup easily favors the NFC champion. But until someone can beat Mahomes when it counts, it’s hard to bet against the Chiefs making it three in a row.
