The Eras Tour star could skip the Buffalo Bills vs the Kansas City Chiefs, leaving Travis Kelce on his own.

The game is a rematch of last year’s AFC Divisional Round Game in which Patrick Mahomes passed Andy Reid’s side to a 27-24, with the 34-year-old singer’s boyfriend scoring two touchdowns on the road.

But it was in the executive boxes that the real drama happened as the Cruel Summer vocalist had a run in with the Bills’ fans, who were quite raucous on the night, as their Super Bowl hopes died, and left the star feeling put off.

“I have heard from people very close that it was not a great experience in Buffalo,” Adam Lefkoe, a journalist, told Up & Adams. “It was not, for all parties involved.

“And I’m talking about the most famous of all the parties. I think that it kind of shocked the Kelce family and everyone related to the Kelce family the reception they got.”

“I think they were kind of going in being like, ‘This is going to be an amazing game with good energy.’

“And they got there and they experienced Bills Mafia in full form, in its complete ruthlessness. And I think they left and went, ‘I don’t know if I want to experience that again.'”

However, one man who enjoyed himself was Jason Kelce. The ex-Philadelphia Eagle was famously spotted ripping off his shirt and downing a can of beer as the NFL center bought into the atmosphere metres away from the crowd.

The Week 11 match at the Highmark Stadium will air on CBS Sports as Mahomes and Kelce look to maintain their 100% start to the 2024/25 season.

Coming into the game, the Chiefs were the last undefeated team in the NFL, boasting a flawless 9-0 record. The Bills, at 8-2, had been just a step behind but carried the weight of seasons past where they had fallen short of dethroning Kansas City. The stakes? A prime position in the race for the AFC’s No. 1 seed-and perhaps, an early psychological edge for the playoffs.

As the dust settled on Buffalo’s 31-28 victory, the respect between Mahomes and Allen was palpable. Meeting at midfield, Mahomes had a message for his counterpart that seemed to sum up their shared competitive spirit: “We’ll do it again, baby.” It wasn’t just a handshake; it was a promise of more battles to come.

The loss dropped Kansas City to 9-1, while Buffalo improved to 9-2, solidifying their place as legitimate contenders for the AFC crown. For the Bills, it was a statement game, proving they could go toe-to-toe with a team that has been the NFL’s gold standard for the better part of five years.

Allen shines, Mahomes dazzles, and the stage is set for a playoff epic
Josh Allen was the driving force for Buffalo’s victory, throwing for over 300 yards and rushing for two key first downs late in the game. It was a reminder of his dual-threat ability that makes him one of the most difficult quarterbacks to defend. Meanwhile, Mahomes, despite the loss, still dazzled with 350 passing yards and three touchdowns, keeping the game within reach until the final minutes.

These teams have a history of delivering drama. Last season, Kansas City stole a win in Buffalo after a missed field goal cost the Bills dearly. The Chiefs then parlayed that momentum into another deep playoff run, leaving the Bills wondering what might have been. This season, Buffalo seems determined to flip the script.

Both teams now turn their attention to the remaining schedule, but the specter of a postseason rematch looms large. The Bills and Chiefs are not just fighting for regular-season supremacy; they are setting the stage for what feels like an inevitable clash in January, perhaps with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.

As Mahomes walked off the field Sunday, his words to Allen resonated beyond the confines of the game. “We’ll do it again, baby” wasn’t just a throwaway comment-it was a recognition of the rivalry that defines them and a nod to the unfinished business that lies ahead.
