How did Taylor Swift help Simone Biles’ GOAT Tour?
The pair have met in the past with Swift supporting Biles, and now she’s managed to do so again

Despite admitting she probably won’t meet Taylor Swift, Simone Biles revealed the Eras Tour star helped her Gold Over America Tour (GOAT) become the success it was when she used the popstar to design a new floor routine.

The 27-year-old artistic gymnast has 11 Olympic gold medals to her name and is widely regarded as the best to ever do it, but even she needs some help from time to time as she turned to the 34-year-old billionaire for inspiration.

“Yes, that’s exactly how I would describe it,” Biles said, laughing, to Click on Detroit when asked if her unique routine was like gymnastics meeting a concert as she uses intense music to produce equally intense feats on the floor.

Of course, Swift wasn’t the only person to feature on the playlist as the athlete also tapped into tunes from Beyonce and Post Malone, and it appeared to be a great success with the audience singing along too.

The pair are yet to meet in the NFL despite both dating two professional footballers as Biles is married to Jonathan Owens (safety) and Swift is 14 months into dating Travis Kelce (tight end) but it doesn’t seem likely to happen this season.

Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs do not meet Chicago Bears in the 2024/25 NFL campaign meaning their best chance to greet each other actually came in 2023 when the Chiefs played the Green Bay Packers, who Owens then played for.

There’s no bad blood between them despite Biles suggesting opponents “don’t bond” compared to their inter-team connections so fans will no doubt be hoping that they can one day cross paths again.

After improving to 7-0 for the season with a 27-20 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, the Chiefs are looking good to win another Super Bowl despite not looking like a particularly good football team at the moment.

They will look to have a breakout game in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Arrowhead Stadium on November 4, live on ESPN and ABC. The game will kick off at 20:15 ET/17:15 PT.

The Chiefs have been aggressive in the days leading up to the NFL trade deadline, as general manager Brett Veach has pulled off deals for former All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins and coveted edge rusher Josh Uche. As Kansas City motors toward the playoffs and a ninth consecutive AFC West division title — with a third successive Super Bowl at the end of the tunnel — speculation is starting to swirl as to whether the momentous achievement will bring an end to Andy Reid’s “cycle” as the Chiefs’ head coach.

Clark Hunt keeps getting asked about Reid’s retirement
Reid, who has been in charge since that fateful 2013 season, is the NFL’s oldest active head coach at 66 years old. As such, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt has revealed that he is thinking about when or how to replace Reid — who, it should be noted, has not expressed any interest in stepping aside.

“(Reid) certainly seems rejuvenated, I would say, by the success of the team in the last few years and having one of the most special quarterbacks of all time,” Hunt told ESPN. “I have no sense that he has any interest in retiring any time soon, which is fantastic. But I think any leader needs to be thinking about succession. … Eventually that day will come.”

Reid has a long-term contract with the Chiefs that runs through the 2029 season; his star quarterback Patrick Mahomes is linked to the franchise through 2031 . While the NFL is unpredictable and teams’ plans can change on a dime, Kansas City years ago identified Reid, Mahomes, and Travis Kelce as their franchise pillars and keys to championship-level success. So it has proven; Kansas City has won the Super Bowl three times since Mahomes became a starter in 2018.

So as agents and media members try to “forecast” and predict the future, it seems that for the Chiefs, all roads run through Reid — who is Kansas City’s all-time leader in wins and finds himself 64 victories behind the late Don Shula for the most regular-season wins in NFL history.
