Prince Harry confirms main reason why Meghan Markle will not come to UK
Prince Harry is currently in the UK for a solo engagement while his wife Meghan Markle stays in their Montecito mansion with their two children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three.

Prince Harry has shed light on one of the reasons why his wife Meghan Markle, 43, will not return to the UK.
The Duke, 40, is currently in London to attend the WellChild Awards 2024, however, royal fans have been quick to notice that his wife is not by his side.
Although Harry has not spoken out about this during his current visit to the UK, an interview he gave to ITV in July this year states why Meghan will not return to the UK for some time, with her last visit being in 2022 for the late Queen’s funeral.
According to GB News, Harry told ITV that he would not be bringing Meghan back to the UK as he fears for her safety, especially since the couple have lost their royal police protection.
This is likely to be one of the main reasons why Meghan and their children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, have stayed at home in Montecito, California.

Harry told ITV earlier this year: “It’s still dangerous, and all it takes is one lone actor… whether it’s a knife or acid, whatever it is, and these are things that are of genuine concern for me.
“It’s one of the reasons why I won’t bring my wife back to this country.”
Harry and Meghan left the UK for a life abroad in 2020 after quitting as senior members of the Royal Family.
At the time, the couple claimed press intrusion was the main catalyst for this decision, as well as their desire to be financially independent.
Since then, the couple have experienced a strained relationship with working members of the Royal Family, which has only been further heightened by their interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, shortly followed by the Harry and Meghan Netflix docuseries a year later.
Harry then took things a step further with the release of his memoir Spare in 2023 where he hurled a stream of accusations at his family, including at his brother Prince William, who he no longer speaks to.
The Duke, who will head to Africa for a solo engagement after this fleeting visit to the UK on Monday, will not be seeing any family members while in his home country.
