Taylor Swift gave a sweet and ultra rare shoutout to her boyfriend Travis Kelce when she picked up the prestigious Video of the Year award last last nighMAs.

The superstar called her partner of one year “magical” as she made history by winning her 30th award.

Despite often being seen together, Taylor rarely speaks about Travis in public, leaving fans stunned by the declaration.

During her speech for the video of the year award, Taylor said: ” you know, the things that this video seems very sad when you watch it, but it was like the most fun video to make and something I will always remember is that when I would finish one take and I would say cut and we’d be done with the take, I would always just here someone cheering and like woo from across the studio where we were shooting it and that one person was my boyfriend Travis.”

She went on: “Everything this man touches turns into happiness and find a magic so I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I will always remember that.”

Taylor made history on the night as she became the most decorated solo artist ever by earning 30 VMAs overall. But it was her comments about Travis that got many fans talking.

Die hard Swifties recalled the singer paying a similar gushing tribute to ex Joe Alwyn at the Grammys. While some critics said it was a bad move for the star to be so public as it ‘wouldn’t age well’ given her dating history.

While others said Taylor’s move just showed how much she and Travis are meant to be as he is always vocal of his support for her.

Taylors sweet speech dedicated to her boyfriend as he recently spoke about her love for the NFL. Swift became a hot topic throughout the last NFL season, frequently spotted cheering at Chiefs games, showing her solid support for her boyfriend.

However, some fans have been left disappointed as they think Taylor has taken interest away from the sport. Addressing the uproar, Taylor said: “I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in. There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast. I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once. I’m just there to support Travis [Kelce]. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads and Chads.”
