At this point in her career, Simone Biles has embraced the title of being the greatest of all time, aka the GOAT. During an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday, September 4, the decorated gymnast was faced with the polarizing question of not only embracing the loaded title but also living up to it.
Fallon asked Biles about a necklace she was wearing, which happened to be a diamond-encrusted goat. This was the same fashion statement the 27-year-old busted out during the Olympics after winning a gold medal in the individual all-around final on August 1.
When asked about fully embracing her GOAT status, Biles admitted that she also uses it as a dig aimed at her haters.
“Well, I think it’s funny to play off,” she said. “Obviously, all of my fans and people have embraced, loved and supported me throughout my journey, but also the haters because there’s always the comments like, ‘Stop calling her the GOAT. She is not the GOAT.’ So it’s like, it makes people happy and then it just pisses people off.”

The room burst into cheers after hearing that smug statement from the 11-time Olympic medalist. Fallon chimed in by himself, sending a message to Simone’s naysayers.
“Yeah, bye, haters,” said the host. “Keep hating. She’s the GOAT.”
Despite being the most decorated gymnast of all time, Biles still has her fair share of non-believers. As they always say, such is the price of fame.
For her part, though, Biles appears to be relishing the opportunity to clap back at her naysayers in a not-so-subtle manner.
